Join us to honor victims and survivors of gun violence at this annual event: June 2 at noon in the Greenwich Town Hall Meeting Room (101 Field Point Road). Mary Lee Kiernan, President and CEO of the YWCA Greenwich will speak about the intersection between gun violence and domestic violence. Town leaders will read a proclamation. Wear your orange.

June 2 would have been the 28th birthday of Hadiya Pendleton, a Chicago teen who was shot and killed as an innocent bystander in a park. Her friends choose to wear orange in her honor because it’s the color hunters wear to protect themselves.
