These are a few of our favorite things
Greenwich has so much to offer us all, so during this holiday season, we thought we’d reflect on a few of our favorite things. Yes there are so many more, from Tod’s Point to the Town Party. But we can’t put everything under the tree, so here are just a few gifts we can all share.

- Coffee for Good: Enjoy a cappuccino and conversation at this nonprofit that provides paid job training to young adults with developmental disabilities.
- Greenwich Historical Society: Discover the long, multilayered history of our town.
- The Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich: Donate to this community resource, serving nearly 1,500 kids from ages 6 through 18 since 1910.
- Greenwich Avenue: Gaze at the scintillating holiday lightsilluminating the street.
- The Mill in Glenville: Visit the picturesque waterfall by The Mill, particularly stunning in autumn.
- St. Roch’s Feast: Enjoy barbecue, funnel cakes, and rides at this historic August event.
- Edward R. Schongalla Nature Preserve: Discover this hidden gem for nature lovers.
- Berkley Theater at the Greenwich Library: Attend free concerts, Friday movies, music, and lectures.
- Audubon’s Hawk Watch: Don’t miss this annual weekend event for watching migrating hawks.

- Our volunteer fire companies: Support the 120 volunteers who staff stations in Sound Beach, Glenville, Banksville, Round Hill and Cos Cob, augmenting 100 full-time professionals.
