Candidate for Town Clerk

Meghan McCreary brings a unique blend of technology expertise and community commitment to her candidacy for town clerk. Born and raised in the Midwest, Meghan attended public schools through her K-12 years before earning a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Oberlin College. She moved to Fairfield County after graduation and now lives in downtown Greenwich with her boyfriend and their dog. Meghan began her career as a software engineer at FactSet, where she worked on the portfolio analytics and vault teams, helping to develop tools that preserved financial data for auditing and compliance.
Meghan’s interest in public service and digital infrastructure began early—her first summer job in high school involved digitizing medical records at a local clinic during the early days of electronic medical systems. That same interest in modernizing systems and improving access to information led her to co-create 203.vote, a site dedicated to enhancing transparency and analysis of Representative Town Meeting (RTM) voting records. Meghan is currently VP of Political Affairs for the Greater Stamford Young Democrats and serves on Greenwich’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), a role shaped by her experience growing up in a community impacted by natural disaster.
Meghan is running for Town Clerk to bring a thoughtful, technology-forward approach to recordkeeping and civic engagement in Greenwich. Her proudest local achievement so far? Winning the Greenwich Town Party lottery three years in a row.
