About Elliot Alchek

Candidate for Board of Estimate and Taxation (BET)

Elliot Alchek is a seasoned financial executive with a distinguished career spanning Capital Markets, Hedge Funds, and Real Estate Investing. He was a Partner at DKR Capital, a $4.5 billion hedge fund, where he also served as President of DKR Capital Securities Corp. Prior to his tenure at DKR, Mr. Alchek was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, holding senior positions in both New York and Chicago. At Goldman, he led national municipal bond sales, headed the Structured Finance group, and oversaw the distribution of collateralized debt obligation equity.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Alchek is actively engaged in philanthropic efforts. He served for a decade on the Board of the UJA in Greenwich and is a co-founder of For the Love of Life, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting colon cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Mr. Alchek earned a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
