Candidate for Constable
Dawn Fortunato is running for re-election to her fourth consecutive term as Greenwich Town Constable. First appointed in 2018, she has earned a reputation for handling sensitive and sometimes dangerous situations with professionalism and compassion. A lifelong Greenwich resident, GPS graduate, and criminal justice major, Dawn has served on the RTM, chaired District 3, and held roles on the Land Use, Parks & Rec, and CDBG Committees.
She’s also a fierce advocate for public health and education—leading the fight to clean up contaminated soil at Western Middle School and helping families secure special education services, including her own. Whether serving legal papers, testifying at the Capitol, or demanding safer streets, Dawn shows up, speaks up, and stands up for her community—always putting families and public safety first.
