The new year is shaping up to be a pivotal one for us as local Democrats. We all need to rally behind democracy itself in the presidential election.
We have to re-elect our state house representatives who swept three seats for the first time ever in 2022. And we are already planning for success in the municipal elections in 2025.
Make sure Greenwich Democrats are doing all they should. Come to our once-every-two-years town Democratic caucuses, and vote for neighbors to act as your representatives on the Greenwich Democratic Town Committee (GDTC).
At the meeting, you can nominate yourself to be a member too! We need brains, brawn, and bucks for the next two-year cycle. GDTC members steer policy, communications, candidate search, fundraising, public outreach, and get-out-the-vote.
No need to RSVP. Registered Democrats in town like you can vote at your district caucus and we can even register inactive Democrats who live in the district on site. The meeting should take no more than an hour.
