DESCRIPTION:Join us to recognize victims and survivors of gun violence. June 5th at 1 pm in the Greenwich Town Hall Meeting Room (101 Field Point Road). Special guest speaker Earl Bloodworth\, Executive Director of CT Against Gun Violence. Town leaders will read a proclamation. Wear your orange. \n\n\n\nJune 2 would have been the 29th birthday of Hadiya Pendleton\, a Chicago teen who was shot and killed as an innocent bystander in a park. Her friends choose to wear orange in her honor because it’s the color hunters wear to protect themselves.
